Hello  there, my name is Rachel , the original Black Fairy! As a busy  mum to a very energetic little girl of 3 and also 2 step sons, I am based in the West Country. Working around the demands of being a busy work at mum, La Fee Noire Maternity was created late 2007 to address the need for maternity clothes and accessories that were not only functional, but also funky. Desperate for stylish & head turning maternity dresses , maternity jeans and also maternity swimwear, during my pregnancy, I found a distinct shortage of original and exciting and affordable styles available in the UK and even globally

My collection offers glamour, fun and above all head-turning style. See a great range of alternative maternity clothes including unique designer pieces, imports and classic brands. Sizes from petite 6 to plus size maternity 32 and everything in between! I have created a range of edgy maternity wear and also ladieswear for new mums who want style thats bang on trend and will turn heads with their bumps and beyond!
In April 2009 my innovative maternity invention was launched...Hug-a-Bump® SPD Maternity support band featured in the Daily Mail.

Designed to help relieve symptoms of SPD and back pain in pregnancy we have feedback from many comforted ladies. SPD effects 1 in 3 pregnancies and my invention can help thousands of women have a much more enjoyable and less painful pregnancy.
